June vacation

Last week I went on vacation with my mom, sister, grandma and grandpa Turner and Silky (grandpas dog).
We went to Lincoln City Oregon. Our family has a cabin on Devils lake. We love to go there.
This year we went to the Portland Zoo. It was my favorite thing we did. We also went to the ocean. The tides were the lowest they have been in 10 years, so we saw lots of star fish and sea anemones that spit water when you step on them. We saw deer at the cabin, a beaver swimming and tiny fish.
I got to play with my second cousins as well.

My Birthday Party

I had a lot of fun at my party.
My dad made a treasure hunt for us and actually buried a treasure chest that we made. The treasure chest had goodie bags for my friends.
We also had a water balloon fight. We made pirate ships and hid behind them as we threw the balloons at each other.
I loved all my toys I got. I got more money too. Now I am saving for a new basketball hoop. A REAL one this time.
Today we are going kayaking on our new kayaks.
Then we will come home and play with my toys.
Then we will go to church.

But first we have to go pick some apricots from our tree.

My new bike

I saved up all my spending money for a new bike.
I asked for money for my birthday and I got lots for my birthday so far.
Yesterday my dad went to Costco with my Grandma and they picked up my new Mongoose bike.
It is like a cream color and brown. It is cool. I love it so much. I'm going to keep it in the garage, not outside. My dad says I can ride my bike all by myself now around the neighborhood.

Today is my birthday party. My friends are coming tonight to celebrate and play games with me.
I will blog about my party tomorrow.

River Trail

Today is Memorial Day. We went on a family bike ride. We started at the Sundial Bridge and went all the way to the Kesiwick bridge. I rode my bike the entire way. I rode 9.3 miles today.

I need a new bike. Mine is too small and the pedals are broken. I want a new bike for my birthday. I saw the one I want at Costco. It's a Mongoose. It has black and red and it was just my size. I am saving my money for one. It costs $120. My dad says he will pay for half if I pay for half. So I have to save $60. I already have $25. So for my birthday I want money for a new bike!

My birthday is June 10th. I will be 9 years old. Then my allowance will be $9 a month!

Today we say Western Pond Turtles sitting on logs. We saw a river otter swimming. We saw caterpillars trying to cross the trail. We smashed some. We also saw goslings (baby geese).

Now we are going swimming at Sun Oaks!

Lego Day with Dad

This one took all day. It's a Giant Jungle Tower with 5 levels on it. The top level has archers. The ladders fold up so the enemy can't get on. It's almost as tall as Julianne. My dad helped build this one.

This ship is called The Dawn Treader from C.S. Lewis. I made this one all by myself. Even the sails. We're going to send a picture of this one to Lego Magazine.
This is a blue square that we cannot get rid of. Hello blue square!

I made these Lego iPhone's for me and my friends. They even have a charger.

Klamath Falls

I was supposed to blog this for Jake. He told me what to put:

While my mom and dad painted the house, my and Jules went to Klamath Falls with my grandma and grandpa to visit my cousin Gabe and Maddy. My uncles took me shooting. I got to shot a .22 rifle and hand gun. I loved it. I can't wait to do it again.
